Hey there friends,

I’ve been writing furiously these last few weeks, excited to share the new songs with you!  Still working hard, a lot more to go….

Recording next month with Jacquire King (!!!) who’s my favorite producer, I feel so lucky.  He’s done amazing records by Kings of Leon, Cold War Kids, Norah Jones, Modest Mouse, MuteMath, and my personal favorite, Tom Waits.  We’ll be recording in Lexington, KY at the beautiful St. Clare Recording Studio, and the record is being released on New Song Recordings out of Brooklyn, NY.  I feel so lucky.

So mostly hiding away with that, have a show this Saturday with Melissa Ferrick which I’m very excited about at City Winery in NYC (Sold Out, woohooo!) and a little jump to Memphis next week for Folk Alliance, I get to play the ASCAP showcase.  I love ASCAP. 

We just got a video back from a dreamy day in California where I got to record a song with Propellerheads new software, Record.  It started simple and at the last minute some of my favorite people, who are also musicians I admire hugely, came and joined in.  Tons of fun - check out the video of it and download the FREE MP3 (click the video for the link) of our version of my song “Full Moon in Paris” too - it sounds so great with all of them on it!!  Butch Norton, Mai Bloomfield, Ed Romanoff, John Alagia, Ari Hest, Jonny Flaugher, Brad Gordon and Rosi Golan.  Wow!  What a team.

I’ll be updating this more now while I’m working on the record, post little pics and videos.  I’m also on Instagram - do any of you use that?  Super great for photos.
